Hello Everyone,

2012 SDSA convention fun in Aberdeen, SD If you were not in Aberdeen Nov. 9 and 10 for the SDSA Convention you missed a rocking good time with the host club, Aberdeen Drift Busters.  There was plenty of fun and good food for everyone.  The meetings at the convention were informative as always and the hospitality rooms were excellent.  The live and silent auctions were a great success thanks to all the people and businesses that donated the items. The host club hopes that everyone enjoyed themselves and had a rocking good time.

I am your new District 3 representative, which includes Aberdeen Drift Busters, Jim Valley Snowmobile Club, Day County Trailblazers, and Dakota Ditch Drifters.  My wife, Gina and I live 10 miles west of Aberdeen on Mina Lake where we have lived for 25 years, we have a son, Jordan that is 21 years old and works in Aberdeen.  I look forward to working with the board of directors for the next 2 years and hope that we can get many things accomplished for the South Dakota snowmobiling community.  It is a great pleasure that my club thinks enough of me to nominate me for this position for our district and I hope to get many things done with the group.  I am always open for any input that pertains to snowmobiling so please feel free to contact me.

SDSA board of directors meets at state conventionI would like to thank all the Drift Buster members that worked tirelessly to make the convention an outstanding success.  Thanks again.

We have a Holiday party scheduled for January 5th. at the Richmond Oasis, snow permitting we will be having a Radar run, and a Trail ride followed by a Steak feed.  For times and further information keep checking our web site.

Our next club meeting will be Dec. 6, at 7:30 pm at the Pizza Ranch.

Jeff Thorne, Aberdeen Drift Busters President and New District 3 Representative.
