The numbers were awesome.  209 for the banquet and 150 full registrations, food was very good, the auctions, live and silent, which 65% goes to SDSA,  Aberdeen’s 35%  share was $ 4,197.  Other clubs brought items for the auction.  The club got $1,000 from the Everybody Wins drawing because we were the host club. We did well. Everyone did an awesome job. A round of applause was given to all the hard workers that helped make the convention a great success.  Another round of applause was given for our new district 3 director, Jeff Thorne.  Next year’s convention will be in Huron.  Hope everyone can attend.

Trail rides activities.  Richmond Oasis January 5 it was decided just to have the radar run from 1pm to 4pm and a steak feed at 6pm. The set up will be at 10am.  There will be no trophy’s, just bragging rights to the winners with all proceeds going to charity.  $5 for 3 runs. Jim Weaver will take care of the food for the steak feed and the trailer for the radar run.  We did get a new club banner and it looks great.

New business.  TomWanttie presented a check for $650 to the Driftbusters for their participation in the Haunted Forest.  4195 people was the total for both nights. Thanks to Jim Weaver and his crew for the work they did on that.
The Driftbusters are in need of a new treasurer. Anyone interested please contact Jeff Thorne, Pres. Sharmie did an awesome job this past year and we will miss her.  Jeff Thorne stated the SDSA safety trailer needs to be updated as the sides are starting to rust out.  They have come up with the idea to put a new skin on it with the logos from all participating snowmobile clubs. Al Nagel made a motion for the Driftbusters to join the fund raising. Duane Sutton seconded.  All approved.  Motion carried.

Old business.  Ann Nagel will get in contact with Krysti Mikkonen to train a few club members on how to maintain our new web site.   Schedules for trail rides will be discussed at the next meeting.
