November Newsletter
Hello Driftbusters,
Wow!!! We got our first measurable snow fall so maybe this will be the year we will be able to snowmobile around our area. We can plan some family club rides, radar runs and some other fun events with our snowmobiles.
Next week, Nov. 1st. our trail leaders will begin marking our snowmobile trail and we can always use some volunteers to help mark the trail. If you want to volunteer to help mark the trail please contact Jim Weaver at 216-5309.
Don’t forget to book your rooms for the club ride and the Deadwood SnoCross races in Jan. I would advise to buy your tickets for the races early as they do sell out fast.
The 49th. Annual SDSA Convention will be held in Sioux Falls Nov. 30 / Dec. 1st. For more information and registration forms check in the SnoPlainsman. They are trying something new this year as they will be selling raffle tickets for a 2018 can am defender XTHD8 side by side and other prizes to be given away at the convention. The tickets are $50 each so if you want to purchase one contact your local club.
Nov. 18th. is the free snowmobile safety course at the Pizza Ranch from 2pm to 5pm. For more information or to register contact Corey Gelling, 605-228-6827.
Just a reminder if you haven’t paid your club dues you need to do so as soon as possible.
Our next club meeting will be at Anchor’s Away on Richmond Lake Nov. 1st. at 7:30pm.
